Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Tiffany York, the founder of The Seedling Schoolhouse!

I have a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, and I’ve been lucky enough to spend the last 20 years working with kids in all kinds of ways.

I started my teaching career in preschool, then taught elementary students in grades K-3rd as well as English as a New Language classes, and most recently I’ve been an instructional coach. I’ve also spent several years as a children’s pastor, helping kids grow in their faith and get excited about God’s Word.

Starting my own school had always felt like a long shot. Financially and practically, it seemed out of reach. But last spring, I attended a seminar and saw a one-room schoolhouse firsthand. I came home inspired and began exploring a different approach: not a school for the masses, but a small, intentional community. We are focused on raising the next generation to love the Lord, learn through exploring and helping one another. The Seedling Schoolhouse is my “yes” to that calling.

I’m starting small, trusting God big, and excited to watch this little seed grow!
