We are launching primarily as a K–5 program. A limited number of spots may be available for students in grades 6–8 for the upcoming year. Availability for middle school grades is very limited.

At this time, we do not offer before or after-care. Students attend during regular school hours only. If this changes in the future, families will be notified.

Students bring a packed lunch from home each day. We encourage families to send healthy, balanced meals and a refillable water bottle. Additional information about any allergy guidelines or food policies will be shared with families before the school year begins.

No. Tuition covers all classroom materials and learning supplies. Families will not be asked to pay additional fees for supplies, activities, or special projects. We are committed to keeping costs simple and predictable so there are no surprises throughout the year.

At The Seedling Schoolhouse, we use our Growth Ladder, a learning progression that shows how skills develop from foundational understanding to confident, independent application. Students move through stages as they demonstrate readiness and mastery, rather than advancing based only on age or grade.
This stage-based approach allows us to support multi-age learning, focus on mastery, and meet each student at their individual level.
Progress is measured through classwork and projects, teacher observations, writing samples, math problem-solving and explanations, standards-aligned assessments, and portfolios that show growth over time. Students advance when they consistently demonstrate understanding and application.

Yes. The Seedling Schoolhouse operates as a private school in compliance with Georgia’s compulsory attendance law. Our program meets the state requirements for instructional days, daily learning time, and core academic subjects.

Yes. Enrollment at The Seedling Schoolhouse satisfies Georgia’s compulsory education requirements. Families do not need to file homeschool paperwork when their child is enrolled full-time.

No. As a private school, The Seedling Schoolhouse is not required to administer Georgia Milestones. Student growth is monitored through ongoing classroom assessments, skill tracking, and regular communication with families.
What records do families need to provide for enrollment?
What records do families need to provide for enrollment?
Georgia requires private schools to keep immunization documentation for each student. Families will provide either a Georgia Immunization Certificate (Form 3231) or a signed Religious Exemption (Form 2208), along with standard enrollment information.
